Fundraising Campaign

Tuesday, December 4, 2012

We are in the midst of an exciting campaign to raise $10,000 and propel A Tu Lado into 2013. Thanks to a successful Give to the Max Day on November 15, plus a generous matching grant we recently received from a donor’s employer, we have raised nearly half of our goal.

What will the proceeds support? This March in Cochabamba, A Tu Lado will co-teach a condensed EMT course with the Medical School of Universidad Mayor de San Simón, our next step towards the upcoming full-length EMT course we plan to launch with the Medical School. We will focus not only on facilitating the course, but perhaps more importantly, on building capacity of local trainers to make the next courses fully independent university programs. During the same trip, A Tu Lado’s team will also visit Caracas to assist the development of Universidad Simón Bolívar’s full-length EMT course, which will begin in January.

As we prepare to close the books for 2012, we’d like to thank everyone who has supported our cause. We’ll be updating our web pages regularly as donations continue to come in. Thank you.
